Latency Test — Measure Ping from Your Browser

The 101IP Latency Test measures the round-trip time (RTT) from your browser to the 101IP server using the browser's high-resolution performance.now() timer. No software installation required — results appear directly in the browser.

What does the test measure?

• Min — the fastest response, closest to real network latency;
• Avg — average RTT over 20 requests;
• Max — worst response, shows spikes or jitter;
• Per-ping bars — visual comparison of each individual measurement.

What affects latency?

• physical distance between client and server;
• network congestion on the route;
• Wi-Fi vs wired connection;
• VPN or proxy adding extra hops;
• browser overhead (TLS, HTTP/2 multiplexing on cached connections).

The first measurement is typically higher because the connection is established fresh. Subsequent results reflect real cached-connection latency.
