IP Range from CIDR — Subnet Calculator

CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) is an IP addressing method where the subnet is written as IP/prefix. The prefix indicates how many bits of the mask are used to identify the network.

What the calculator computes

• Network address — the first address of the block, identifies the network;
• Broadcast — the last address, received by all hosts on the network;
• Subnet mask — e.g. /24 corresponds to 255.255.255.0;
• Wildcard mask — inverted mask, used in ACLs and OSPF;
• First/last host — the address range available for devices.
